Until Move 40:  Gote's two left generals doesn't serve a role, because he didn't castled on the left side. Another Problem for Gote is that his rook is positioned before a pawn, which makes his rook hard to utilize.

Move 46: Gote should have take with the rook here. Always be careful when you move your gold general diagonally forward, because he can't go diagonally backwards. The gold is now dead.
