Hi Roger.

Yes, I find quite later your email in my "Spam" folder ... but then I was a bit busiest... and finally forget to reply it to you. TT__TT

Yeah, Latin Spanish is more like American English, or Australian english, to British English. Are just few words than they use in a different manner. but essentially 99'5% is the same.

If I where to try to translate it now .. I will take quite long. So I am quite glad, that someone has got it already.
hehe

I'm glad you found it! If you remember, several years ago, you asked me about translating the Introduction. I wasn't keen at the time *because the introduction was incomplete*. I was about to send you a message to the effect that the introduction could now be regarded as worth translating, when Nicolas Murillo jumped on me with a more or less completed translation, so you were robbed of the 'project'.

It is (I understand) South American Spanish, rather than European Spanish, but I don't suppose that is really harmful?

The good news is that Nicolas Murillo and his helpers (mostly in Chile, I think) are now embarking on projects to translate other Shogi texts into Spanish. I *think* one of them may be 'The Art of Shogi'.
