Hi everyone,

I think some people already know me, but I way to post at least something useful, I guess this is the right topic.

I have been playing shogi since 5 years, in different French shogi club, and I travelled a very little out of my country for shogi (Shangai, London). Now, Im living in York, in the north of UK for a unknown period, and I hope I will be able to find or to initiate some players in my area. 
Im not very strong (2 kyu FESA - 4 kyu 81 Dojo), but I used to be the strongest players in my club, so it was difficult to improve my skill without sensei. I play mostly for fun, and not in way to "show my opponent he is
weak and I don't desserve to play with so dumb player".

Aside from shogi, I intend to be Engineer in Quality Safety Environment (or anything near this) (Im still unemployed), I like a lot of stuff coming from Japan and Asian culture (food, games, manga, anime, J-pop, yoga, etc). Im also a board game player, runner, and I love different kind of sport (badminton, squash, fitness, cycling, swimming).

I would love to meet all of you as soon as possible, and I guess ESC or ISF will be the kind of event making this possible.
