Description
South Bay Shogi Club
We're an unofficial club in the southern San Francisco bay area in California. We welcome players of all skill levels, from brand new players to masters! We also enjoy going out for food or drinks after our weekly meetings and enjoy social meetups to foster friendships.
Though COVID-19 has temporarily stopped our in-person meetings, we still play online and stay in touch with our Discord server. I hope you'll join us to celebrate the coming holiday season by participating in our round-robin tournament! This tournament is a friendly event with no entry fee and open to everyone!

Prizes
Prizes will be awarded based on the number of points at the end of the tournament.
- First place: 1000 D-miles
- Second place: 500 D-miles
- Third place: 250 D-miles
If players are tied for a position, the prize will be split among the players as evenly as possible.
Registration
As soon as the organizer accepts your registration, you will be added to the match table.

- ○: Win (3 points)
- ●: Loss (1 point)
- △: Draw (2 points)
How to create a special game room for the tournament
- During the tournament period, participants will be having a special option in the "Create new game" window in the Dojo app to create a "Tournament Room" for your tournament. Select this option and wait for the opponent.
- Only the participants of this tournament can challenge the player waiting in the corresponding Tournament Room.
- All games must be played in this special Tournament Room so as to be automatically counted in the match table.
- The app allows the same players to play a second game in the tournament. However, only the result of the first game is taken. It is recommended that you check your game history carefully before starting a game with someone in the league, so as not to play any second game with the same opponent by mistake.
