After 89 G*63 white have only two moves
1) 90 Gx63 lead to 91 R-61+ and there are no way to protect the king
2) 90 K-82. 91 Gx62 will follow, and even 92 P-65 to defend with bishop gives nothink, because of 93 G*72
High-dan players can calculate it fast, so white resign

About the rook on 72-nd move. Actually, if white tryes to save the rook here, they'll lost the castle. Castle is more important than rook
