In move 6 gote can just push the edge pawn. If sente escapes the bishop, he lost two moves and blocks the rook, and any other move will bring him a lot of troubles.
Otherwise, gote gives sente an opportunity to realize his plan.
In move 8 it's probably a better idea to push the 3rd file pawn, so after 9. R88, 10. R34 and protects the 84 square.
The same motive might be used in move 16. It's not good to let sente promote his rook.
27 looks not so good. Gote pieces are blocked, so it's better to just build a little defense and then prepare an attack. As sente was able to make a tokin (and take the lance later), it has some chances for counterattack, especially that he has a castle.
