I began playing shogi November 2010 although I have known about shogi for a longer period of time. I'd like to promote shogi here in Canada because it is not very well known here (at least in Toronto that is).

As of August 2011 I am trying to create a shogi club to begin the shogi promotion project (thanks alex94s for the support and encouragement)
