Origin of Convention name
The idea is for players to show their quick calculative skills under time pressure. Similar to Chess Bullet Variant. Bullet chess appeals to the short-attention-span instant-gratification of the current generation. it helps us think faster. The point of it isn't to not make mistakes(as you usually do when you actually want to win a game), it's to help you think faster.
