Amateur shogi player, semi-professional wargame and game designer, a passionate boardgamer. Love the game, I dropped out of chess many years ago due to it being dull and repetitive, but discovering this gem, it really got me into it. Playing since mid 2019. Discovered about it through anime, after several references to shogi, decided to check it out and really got hooked onto the game. Looking forward to making friends who like the game too, and hopefully IRL (in real life), not just over the net.
