Greeting,

I wonder if anyone know much about professional scene and recommend which pro kifu to study? I am thinking about Oyama or Habu. There isn't much English information about their life and playing style.

I see the OP was quite some time ago, but I hope that the original poster sees this.

The Gnu Shogi Database has a collection of kifu here:

https://japanesechess.org/gsdb/

The collection is subdivided by tournament, rather than by named player, and the games are all rather old, and are not commented at all, but you may find something useful there? As far as I can see, the kifu are not recorded in any 'standard' format (.psn, .csa), so you would have to play them out move-by-move to save the games from within a program such as Shogidokoro or ShogiGUI.

There are also two books (jointly) authored by Habu which are his commentaries on a number of other peoples games. These may be of interest? They are:

'Habu's Words' and 'Masters of Shogi', both published by The Shogi Foundation, and available from: http://www.shogifoundation.co.uk/

Habu is definitely an interesting study. Hidetchi has posted a lot of good content studying professional kifu. On top of that he does great commentary and covers a lot of Habu. It's a win-win i think.
