I don't think that you will be able to edit another person's post - here or anywhere else - unless you are a moderator/sysadmin. This is the way it should be...

If you want to edit another person's post, I think you will have to:

1. cut-and-paste the relevant text into a text editor on your own machine;
2. edit the text;
3. re-post the edited text as a separate post under your own name.

I didn't know the situation that shogi's　books are available in the world, so I don't need to play a role to explain in english.
