Hi there,

I've been (re)learning shogi for about four months and had the pleasure to come accross Hidetchi's various videos about some famous Jouseki.

I'm mainly using a little shogi app (the one made by Crossfield) and on it when you start with a specific opening registered in their database, it kinda pops off with a flashy title.

So apparently there's an opening called "Cicada" (or tsukutsuku-boushi something) and I cannot find any info on it anywhere.
As with the classic Double wing attack, it's not much the first moves in themselves, but the studying of possible variants and traps that I'd love to learn.

I might be wrong, but I think Cicada basically starts with a  P-7e, P-2e and R-7f from one player.


(being at it, another opening is Sickle and Chain climbing silver, or "Kusarigama", but this one I've found infos about it even though it's only only the classic jouseki and not a deep dive in)

I hope someone will be able to help me a bit...
